Web Summit has been described as one of the most important tech events in the world
Web Summit focus on internet technology, emerging technologies, and venture capitalism. The conference partners range from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, with attendees representing all levels and sectors of the global high technology industry.
Spreading the word
Our startup Tokenwised was one of the selected for Web Summit‘s ALPHA program. This program showcases the startups disrupting their industries and introduces them to the world’s leading investors, companies and media. GG Dapp is an upcoming crypto gaming platform and DeFi ecosystem, with NFTs at its core, that aims to reward players, developers and investors. GG DApp will also act as a gaming launchpad, first incorporating our own projects and later opening to external projects. Our disruptive potential was a key for us to be selected.
Besides the inspiring talks and mentorship sessions we had a chance to have a stand in the Alpha startup area and to spread the word about GG DApp to people from all around the world and with many different backgrounds. People coming to our stand had the chance to ask us about our project and also try the existing beta versions. We were overwhelmed by so many people showing interest in what we are doing and giving us great feedback.
Then there was the night summit where we could continue the networking in a more relaxed environment with events happening all over the city. We met potential investors, potential partners and potential users.
While spreading the word we planted a lot of “seeds”, many of which we believe will have a big impact in our project in the future! Our agenda is now filled with meetings for the next weeks, many result of the interactions we had at the Web Summit.
