GG DApp is an upcoming gaming platform plus DeFi ecosystem, with NFTs at its core, that aims to reward players, developers and liquidity providers. Every month we write a review with all the recent updates and developments.
GG DApp Open Beta — First Gaming pool, opening this month
It’s no secret that in the past few months we’ve been getting ready to finally open our very first gaming pool in GG DApp Open Beta and we couldn’t be more excited to share the news. Make sure to save the date: September 23!
Our first gaming pool will be opening for Simracer Coin ($SRC). This is a big milestone for us and part of our vision of becoming a decentralized gaming launchpad.
Right now $GGTK holders can already stake their tokens in our open beta General Pool and earn more $GGTK in return but, with the opening of Simracer Coin pool, they will have another staking option. In this pool stakers will get $SRC in return and in the future also receive part of the transaction fees of Simthunder, our upcoming sim racing assets and NFT collectibles marketplace, part of the Simracer Coin project.
Simthunder — Making progress and moving towards Open Beta
We continue to work hard as we get closer to the launch of our marketplcae open beta, not just development wise, but we’ve also started working with our league partners so together we can assemble the first Simthunder NFT collection. We can’t wait to share more in the upcoming months, so stay tuned!
Trooper partnership
This sprint we were also glad to announce we’re teaming up with Trooper — an upcoming Web3 gamers job market. We are opening a Multiple Reward Testing opportunity for our Pirates 2048 game, which is part of GG Dapp ecosystem, granting testers the chance to win rewards up to $7000! You can read all details here, but to summarize:
Pirates 2048 gamers, initially eligible by playing a minimum of 10 hours, will have the chance to monetize their time and skills and will be rewarded upon sharing: weekly screenshots and gameplay recording + quality feedback and suggestions on how to improve the game or by reporting the issues found. Pirates 2048 — new contract and increased prize pool
Pirates 2048 is our upcoming browser-based, multiplayer, retro/futuristic pirate ship battle game. As the game turns into a more complex aspect of our ecosystem where NFT are at the core, in the past month we managed to update our contract and also deployed some important fixes.
Until the Grand Tournament in December we’re hosting monthly competitions and for September we decided to make things even more interesting by having the month’s highest scoring pirates sharing a $250 prize pool + 20% in all ship sales! What are you waiting for? Make sure to join the competition!
