Spring is around the corner and building continues at GG DApp and we’ve just reached our 26th sprint! So without further ado, let’s dive into the highlights of our sprint and get ready for another one!
GG DApp is an upcoming web3 gaming platform, plus the GameFi ecosystem, that aims to reward players, developers, and liquidity providers. Every month we write a review with all the recent updates and developments so everyone is up to speed with what we are building.
Simthunder Open Beta — New version coming
Last sprint, the Simthunder Open Beta was launched, marking a significant milestone for our sim racing assets marketplace. However, our team did not rest on its laurels. In the past sprint, we focused on improving the current beta, and we are delighted to announce that a new version with improvements is slated for release in the upcoming sprint.
The forthcoming version of Simthunder boasts significant enhancements to its front-end interface and smart contract. Additionally, the updated Simthunder Open Beta release will permit users to incorporate additional images into their car skins, accompanied by more detailed descriptions.
The inclusion of more detailed descriptions can aid the skin painters in elaborating on the intention behind their designs, and can also assist sim racers in making informed decisions when purchasing new skins.
SimThunder is our sim racing assets marketplace that is part of our Simracer Coin project, and the Open Beta version was launched on February 3rd.
GG DApp — Opening up for external projects
As you probably know, GG DApp announced the GG DApp Pioneers program last sprint, with the primary objective of onboarding external projects in GG DApp. Throughout the six-month staking period, rewards will be distributed to each of the ten gaming projects selected for the program.
We’re already evaluating potential candidates, but the news is: we have extended the deadline for registering your projects until March 31st!
The program will choose projects according to their value, potential, and community engagement. The distribution of rewards may be subject to change, depending on the number of projects picked and the GGTK token price.

Pirates 2048
The previous sprint was highlighted by the Grand Tournament, which occurred on January 20th, 2023. Following the resolution of certain gaps and imperfections, we continued our monthly competition, which has a revolutionary twist: It was won by “ElPirata” after two championships led by “JackSparrow”.

Pirates 2048 is a browser-based, multiplayer, retro-futuristic pirate ship battle game and one of the first integrations in the GG DApp ecosystem.
