Greetings, GG DApp community! It’s time to hit pause, grab some grub, and catch up on the latest loot from our treasure chest of updates. This Sprint Review is as thrilling as a secret level, so let’s power up and get started!
GG DApp is an upcoming web3 gaming platform, plus the GameFi ecosystem, that aims to reward players, developers, and liquidity providers. Every month we write a review with all the recent updates and developments so everyone is up to speed with what we are building.
Pirates 2048 — Retro Reloaded
Remember the promise we made in our last sprint review about the new and version of Pirates 2048? Well, we’ve sailed the seven seas and battled the kraken to deliver on that promise! Pirates 2048, our browser-based, multiplayer, retro-futuristic pirate ship battle game, has been given a fresh coat of paint. We’ve overhauled the gameplay with a more challenging AI, revamped the graphics for a more retro look, and even remixed the game music to match the new vibe.
It’s one of our first integrations in GG DApp and we’re sure this new version will have ye hoisting the Jolly Roger for more!
Simthunder — Working under the hood
While our pirate crew has been busy with Pirates 2048, our team has been also keeping the work on SimThunder, our sim racing assets marketplace, part of the Simracer Coin project. We’re close to crossing the finish line on an important refactor in the marketplace smart contract. This update will allow us to perform easier migrations in case we need to change something in the logic of the smart contract.
We’re also working on the new ‘League Pioneers’ program, one that will help private sim racing leagues to speed into the web3 era! This program aims to help leagues create their own NFT collections and sell series entries using NFTs.
Boss Level Advisor: Gonçalo Perdigão
This sprint we also welcomed Gonçalo Perdigão, a seasoned expert in digital transformation and growth hacking, to our team as an advisor. We’re excited to have Gonçalo on board and look forward to his contributions in guiding our ‘AI-first’ approach and in building bridges between the established Web2 and our emerging Web3 realm.
Gonçalo has been focusing on growth hacking brands and companies to be future smart and deep tech ready, his expertise will be a game-changer as we continue to level up our GameFi platform.
