GG DApp — Sprint Review #51
We’re arriving a bit later than usual with our sprint review — but for a good reason! We’ve just returned from a jam-packed week at Web Summit Rio, and after a quick recharge and cooldown, it’s time to bring you all the highlights from Sprint #51.
GG DApp is a Web3 gaming platform and DeFi ecosystem, that aims to reward players, developers, and liquidity providers. Every month we write a review with all the recent updates and developments so everyone is up to speed with what we are building.
🇧🇷 Web Summit Rio: Leveling Up in LatAm
For the second year in a row, GG DApp was selected for the Alpha Startup program at Web Summit Rio — and this edition leveled up big time.
The event was bigger, louder, and buzzing with builders, investors, gamers, and Web3 pioneers from all over the world. We spent the week showcasing GG DApp, connecting with potential partners, and getting even more hyped about what’s coming.
Why does this matter? Because Brazil is one of our main targets. With its vibrant gaming community and strong crypto adoption, it’s a natural fit for our next growth wave. We’re now actively exploring partnerships in the region to make that happen. Vamos! 🎮
🎮 Gaming Projects: Mystery Loading…
Back at HQ, the dev team kept grinding on our gaming projects. Work continues on Pirates 2048 and Neeon, but the main focus continues on our AI-first gaming project.
Yes, it’s still a mystery. No, we’re not ready to spill all the details. But we can’t resist giving you a first sneak peek of part of what’s brewing behind the curtain.
We’re using generative AI not just to enhance gameplay — but to shape game mechanics, narratives, and even the tokenomics in ways that only Web3 can allow.
🪙 GGTK Hiccup & Liquidity Merge
This sprint also brought an unexpected challenge. One of our team wallets was compromised, and about 370,000 GGTK were lost.
The good news? No smart contracts or protocol-level funds were affected. We immediately reinforced our security and used the opportunity to streamline things:
We’ve now consolidated GGTK liquidity into our main Ethereum pool on Uniswap, closing the lower liquidity Polygon pool. This simplifies trading and strengthens our token’s presence where it matters most.
Lesson learned. Systems reinforced. Loot secured. 💼💪
