June might be party season in Lisbon… but we’re coding between sardines 🐟 and fireworks 🎆 That’s right — while the streets were alive with music, grilled delights, and festive chaos, our devs stayed on track (with maybe a bit more rhythm in their keyboard tapping).
Sprint #53 brought continued progress in our games, more AI wizardry, and another milestone in our academic collaborations. Let’s dive in!

🕹️ Arcade Room — Getting Closer to Game Time
Development continues full speed ahead on our new AI-powered arcade room, and we’re excited to say that a couple of the arcades are now almost ready to play! 🎮
Each “arcade” is its own mini-game, built with the help of generative AI, blending gameplay, design, and Web3 mechanics in a way that pushes boundaries while staying fun at the core. And yes — more arcades are being built as we speak.
Meanwhile, Neeon is getting its next update ready for launch in the upcoming sprint — get those reflexes warmed up. And Pirates 2048 also continues development as we chart the next course.

🎓 Academic Collabs — Leveling Up with New Talent
This sprint also marked the wrap-up of another internship cycle with Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal. Two awesome interns from their Game Development course joined us for the last 4 months, and their mission? Contribute to one of the new games in our AI-powered arcade room.
They didn’t just bring ideas — they brought energy, creativity, and a passion for gaming that elevated the entire project.
With AI tools as their allies, they explored new design possibilities, experimented with game mechanics, and helped shape what’s coming next.
These academic partnerships are a win-win: they keep us close to emerging talent, and we get to inject fresh energy into our work — because even in the AI age, a touch of human passion is what makes great games truly memorable.
And that’s a wrap for Sprint #53, from dancing in the streets to building in the metaverse this sprint was peak Lisbon energy! 🎊
