Here in Portugal the weather is hot and so are our keyboards! This sprint we had another intense development cycle with the focus being the new version of GG Dapp Open Beta.
GG DApp is an upcoming gaming platform plus DeFi ecosystem, with NFTs at its core, that aims to reward players, developers and liquidity providers. Every month we write a review with all the recent updates and developments.
GG Dapp Open Beta — New Version
During this sprint we launched a new version of GG DApp Open Beta, including the deployment of a new staking smart contract in Polygon Network, that is now ready for the opening of the gaming pools
GG Token (GGTK) holders can, since we launched GG DApp Open Beta in January, stake their tokens and benefit from the 1440 GGTK distributed every day in the General Pool. Soon holders will also be able to stake their GGTK in the gaming pools and earn from each project integrated in the platform.
Besides deploying a new smart contract we also integrated Chainlink Keepers to help automate this distribution of rewards to GGTK stakers. Rewards distribution is now a much more seamless, cost-efficient, and decentralised process.
Another feature introduced was ability to easily re-stake these rewards, something asked by the community for some time. Now you can re-stake your GGTK faster and paying less fees using the new “Restake Rewards” button.

Collision Participation — Spreading the word
Another highlight of this sprint was the participation in Collision Conference, North America’s fastest-growing tech conference. Our mother company Tokenwised was invited to participate in Collision’s ALPHA program, a startup program that showcases the startups disrupting their industries and introduces them to the world’s leading investors, companies and media.
Between inspiring talks and relevant mentorship sessions we had a chance to have a stand in the Alpha startup area and to spread the word about GG DApp to people from all around the world. People coming to our stand had the chance to ask us about our project and also try the existing beta versions.
Potential users, investors and partners had a chance to know us better and the result of these interactions will for sure have a very positive impact in our project’s future.
SimThunder — gearing towards Open Beta
The focus as now shifted back to our Simracer Coin project. Besides the partnerships with private sim racing leagues and teams we’re working on the open beta of our sim racing assets and NFTs marketplace, SimThunder that we’ll open soon.
SimThunder, being developed in partnership with Cartesi, will enable sim racers to buy and sell sim racing assets, like sim racing moments NFTs, car skins and setup files.
Simracer Coin (SRC) staking pool will be the first gaming pool to open in GG DApp where you’ll be able to stake your $GGTK to get Simracer Coin (SRC) in return.
