July was a busy month, bringing hot new developments to GG DApp’s ecosystem, it’s time to review what we’ve been up to!
GG DApp is an upcoming gaming platform plus DeFi ecosystem, with NFTs at its core, that aims to reward players, developers and liquidity providers. Every month we write a review with all the recent updates and developments.
SimThunder — Open Beta launch soon
This sprint the development focus was in our sim racing assets and collectibles marketplace, SimThunder, as we are getting closer and closer towards the launch of its open beta version. SimThunder, part of the Simracer Coin project, will allow sim racers to buy and sell sim racing assets, like car setup files, skins, car ownership NFTs and also collectibles like sim racing moments’ NFTs.
This past month our main achievement was adding the feature for sim racing collectibles NFTs, plus getting closer, development-wise, for the Open Beta phase which will be a very exciting stage of the project!
The Simracer Coin (SRC) staking pool will be the first gaming pool opening in GG DApp, where users will be able to stake their $GGTK to get $SRC in return.
Marketing — New phase already taking place
We shared more on our marketing vision in our 17th Sprint Review, back in June, and touched on our goals / expectations and what we aim to do in order to achieve them.
In the past weeks we have been testing new marketing channels and our efforts include new campaigns in DappRadar and also trying AdWords. We are also scouting and contacting new marketing agencies and ensuring that we can time these crucial efforts with key moments in our projects.
We also had an AMA with the Matic News group, AMA’s are also on the list of the channels we want to explore.
Whilst the market hasn’t been particularly lenient towards crypto projects, we have always identified marketing to be a critical key aspect of growing and expanding our ecosystem and our past marketing endeavors were very useful to help us understand what our next steps should be moving forward.
